The Couture 2015 runways featured everything from intricate feather and bejewelled detailing, to 3D embellishments. Designers like Elsa Schiaparelli, Ulyana Sergeenko, Valentino and Dior, showed collections that were breathtakingly beautiful, and highly creative. We have picked the most wearable trends from the 2015 Couture collections that will make a welcome addition to your wardrobe
1. Structured Cropped TrousersCropped trousers appeared in very different ways on the runways of Elsa Schiaparelli, Armani Privé and Alexandre Vauthier, but they are definitely one trend that has proven popular from couture 2015.
It can be tough leaving the comfort zone of your favourite skinny jeans, but the cropped pant (which tends to sit just above the ankle) is a great alternative – once you know how to style them correctly. Make sure that you balance your silhouette; if the pants are fitted then you can afford to wear something looser on the top half of your body, and vice versa.
Play with textures and remember that the cropped hem should fall on the thinnest part of your ankle. If you are looking for some inspiration on how to wear the cropped pants, then they look great teamed with boots this winter – a tall fitted ankle boot is the way to go. They also look stylish with block heels or sneakers.
