Gluten-free pizza to be on offer at Pizza Hut restaurants in the US
Embracing the latest food trend, American restaurant chain Pizza Hut will soon start offering gluten-free pizza in the US. Starting January 26, customers at some Pizza Hut restaurants will be able to order 10-inch cheese and pepperoni gluten-free pizzas.
“Our gluten-free pizza will come in all flavours that our US consumers expect from Pizza Hut,” David Gibbs, Pizza Hut’s chief executive officer, said in the statement.
The new pizza offerings were developed with Udi’s, a maker of gluten-free products based in Boulder, Colorado, and a non-profit organisation called the Gluten Intolerance Group, which Pizza Hut said was a pioneer in verifying gluten-free food.
