Retail Access to rewrite F&B offerings at DWT
Four new dining concepts are to make their debut at the venue operator
Dubai: Retail Access has been appointed by Dubai World Trade Centre to develop fresh culinary concepts for their in-house managed dining destinations. Four new brands will be revamped under the terms of the contract, with Retail Access taking care of the strategic master planning and development of the concepts. These F&B outlets will be located along the concourse and inside the exhibition halls.
The first of these are expected to start serving by the end of the year. Retail Access has also been given responsibility for F&B consultancy, charged with developing the menu in partnership with the chefs at DWTC and planning the kitchen fit-outs and staff training once the interior design is complete.
DWTC has more than 148 chefs from 17 different countries with the capacity to cater for up to 15,000 conference and exhibition delegates on a daily basis.
“As a global destination and a regional epicentre for events, DWTC is consistently assessing its service to ensure it can surprise visitors with an unparalleled experience,” said Hugo Van Der Schaegh, General Manager, for Consultancy and Design at Retail Access. “This includes reviewing its portfolio of dining options against international trends and tastes.”
More than 2 million visitors pass through the venue every year.
