A new mobile app that allows companies to engage with users on Instagram more easily has been launched by a Dubai-based tech firm.

Innbx is aimed at brands and creative agencies and allows them to run multiple Instagram accounts, without the need to log in each time.Developed by Brndstr, the app will enable users to manage multiple accounts, to categorise followers in groups and to save social content directly onto mobile phones.

The app was launched at this week’s TechCrunch Disrupt in New York.Brndstr said the app allows companies to manage social media campaigns much more effectively.

Simon Hudson, the CEO and founder of Brndstr, said: “With the launch of Innbx, companies will now have an opportunity to take their marketing campaigns to the next level and as posted content continues to grow, we believe users will find the ability to group content extremely useful”.

Brndstr was founded 18 months ago with an aim to help brands and creative agencies engage with people on social media.Their initial focus was just on Twitter, where they developed interactive tools that allowed businesses to automatically respond to hashtags with offers and vouchers.

The firm has so far partnered with McDonalds, Virgin Megastore, CNN, Sheraton and UBER.

In May 2014, Brndstr successfully raised its second round of funding for the business, amounting to $1.6 million.

Last year Hudson told 7DAYS that he heavily credits Dubai for his success. He firmly believes that Dubai has the potential to create another Silicon Valley – or “Silicon Beach”, as he and friends have dubbed it.

“I chose Dubai as a business base because Dubai was built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs”, he added.

The app is available for free for download from Google Play.
