Anta garners a growing fan base

Established in 1994 in Jinjiang in China’s Fujian province, Anta is today the world’s fourth largest sportswear brand, with 10,000 stores worldwide, 8,000 of them in China.

“Anta has received positive response since its launch in February, given its youthful spirit. The Dubai market is mature, forward-looking and dynamic, with extremely brand-conscious customers always on the look-out for newer brands, ever-willing to try out new things. That worked in our favour,” shares Krish Shroff, general manager, Regal Retail, who belongs to the third generation of the six-decade-old Regal Group.

“Customers are excited to see a new sportswear brand enter this market, especially one that is affordable.”
