Saudi Eastern Province witness establishing 40 new hotels in the coming period
The general manager of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, and secretary of Tourism Development Council in the Eastern Povince, Abdul-Latif Bin Mohammed Al Benyan, said that the hospitality sector occupancy in the Eastern Region reached 115 hotels in addition to 800 furnished units all set to occupy the rising demand on hotel facilities.
Al Benyan added that the Eastern Province will witness opening 40 new 4 star and 5 star hotels in the coming period.
He added that the commission is still undertaking its supervisory role in inspecting touristic facilities to guarantee their quality and moderate prices. The commission condensed its supervision and awareness campaigns by distributing numerous booklets through 100 stands and 40 electronic information centers in these touristic facilities.
