Nando's crafts new concept and opens flagship outlet in the Oman avenues mall
Nando's Oman has opened its new flagship outlet in the heart of The Oman Avenues Mall, one of the Sultanate's most prominent commercial spaces. Depicting a strong sense of South African culture, the restaurant is the biggest and third in Oman, adorned with a natural feel and rustic concept, coupled with a world-renowned dining experience built to international standards.
"It is important to continually bring something new to the table, and with our range of original features we have definitely added some flavor to the local food and beverage industry," said Jannat Moosa, Marketing Director at Bin Mirza International. "Alongside design specialists from the United Kingdom, artists were commissioned to deliver 35 contemporary works that would complement our combination of themes through a diverse look at life in South Africa. Our latest family-friendly offering is accompanied with table service for greater convenience, in addition to a wider variety of sauces, new addition of deserts and drinks; it could be said that 'the neighborhood will never be the same again'."
Moosa went on to explain some of the new elements of the restaurant, notably a separate café style area that serves deliciously tasty treats and soft-scoop gelato, and the restaurant's new state-of-the-art lighting technology. For spatial efficiency and a more social option, customers can also opt to sit at a communal table at the 140 seat restaurant, surrounded by the warmth of reclaimed wood, and a stylish, custom-made copper feature, flowing throughout the dining areas. Despite plans to further extend its menu later in the year, guests can already indulge in flamed grilled PERi PERi chicken and enjoy a sweet ending at one of Muscat's most desirable dining options.
