Starwood plans 100 Sheraton Grand hotels by early 2017


Dubai: US-based Starwood Hotels and Resorts has officially introduced Sheraton Grand, according to a company statement on Thursday.


The hotel chain already operates 10 Sheraton Grand properties in Dubai, Bengaluru, Beijing, Edinburgh, Miyazaki, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro.


It plans to have 50 Sheraton Grand-branded hotels worldwide by the end of this year, and 100 by early 2017.


The Sheraton Grand in Dubai is located on Shaikh Zayed Road.
