Qatar hotels occupancy rate reached 80%

Occupancy rate in Qatar hotels reached 80% according to hotels’ officials which is considered powerful occupancy rate reflecting the turn out rate on tourism in Qatar.


Many hotels meanwhile are prepping for summer period by presenting enticing offers for visitors. Hotels’ officials attributed high tourists’ influx to prices convenience and good hospitality, in addition to the elegance of tourism product in Qatar.


Sharq general manager, David Wilson, said that occupancy hike is a good sign of tourism sector performance in the state. He added that still the sector is on the verge of a higher occupancy rate during summer season.


Ghada Sadeq, Movenpick West Bay Doha general manager, attributed in turn the high occupancy rate to exhibitions and conference tourism, moderate prices, and abundancy of high-quality tourism products.
